ABOUT CRYSTAL
CRYSTAL innovation competition targets participations from three levels of participants with three separate events; Event D, Event E and Event F.
Event D is mainly for primary and secondary school students to present their innovation product . While Event E is targeting individual or group to come up with any kind of teaching and learning product for kindergarten. The third event for Crystal, Event F, encourages individual or group participation to present innovation product for community development.

- Participant are advised to prepare brochures, flyers, PowerPoint presentation or any related materials to support the innovation product. Poster presentation (size A1) is compulsory.
- Provided with the exhibition space are a display board, 1 table, 1 chairs and 1 power plug.

All participants (for Satellite Event D, E and F) will be given ONLY ONE (1) certificate of participation. Additional certificate will be charged MYR10.00 each upon request*.
Each group/project/product of winners will be awarded with ONLY ONE (1) certificate. Additional certificate will cost MYR10.00 each upon request*.

- ONLY ONE (1) medal will be awarded to each Group / Project / Product of winners.
- Additional medal will cost MYR50.00 per medal (gold, silver or bronze)*
- Medals can only be purchased by winners.

RULES & REGULATIONS
- Payment fee is not negotiable.
- Once the registration has been accepted, the participant is obliged to pay the total amount of fee.
- The participant who CANCELS the participation after the last registration date must pay the whole amount of the invoiced fee.
- The following exhibits are, however, not accepted for this competition:
- An invention which is a duplication of others.
- An invention which may provoke public’s sensitivity or may contain values that are in contrary to moral and public health and welfare.
- An invention which may be a subject matter of any Intellectual Property (IP) disputes or contentions.
- Exhibitors must complete a separate entry form for each invention which they wish to exhibit. Only one invention is allowed for each form.
- Exhibitors are responsible to obtain Intellectual Property (IP) protection for their exhibitions.
- The entry form (together with abstract) should be submitted to i-IDeA2018 organizers by 15th December 2017.
- Once the entry form has been accepted and the registration is confirmed by the committee, the exhibitor is obliged to pay the total amount of fees within the allocated timeframe. Please refer to i-IDeA2018 website for further details on payment method.
- Exhibitors who withdraw their participations after the last registration date must pay the whole amount of their invoiced fees.
- All details or files submitted in the entry form (including abstract) are accepted as they are. The i-IDeA2018 organizers will not be responsible for any errors in the translation or wording of descriptions published in the programme book or in the e-proceedings.
- The organizers will also not be responsible for any loss, theft, damage (due to fire or other causes) or personal injury suffered during or after the exhibition or in transit.
- The participants should further agree to release and acquit the organizers for all actions, causes of actions, claims or damages of whatever kind, including the negligence of the organizers arising out of participation in this program.
- The decisions of the panel of judges for the competition are final. The panel of judges or the members or the organizers are not liable in respect of any matters which arise from or connected to the results or conduct in organizing the competition.
THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES ARE FINAL AND NO DISPUTES OR APPEALS WILL BE ENTERTAINED
